Description
The Casimir Effect: Even in an абсолютний vacuum (where there are no particles at all), quantum fluctuations of the electromagnetic field still exist. If two closely spaced metal plates are placed in a vacuum, these fluctuations create a tiny but measurable attractive force between them, literally “pushing” them toward each other. This is a force that arises from “nothing” in empty space.
